ABOUT
I’ve directed and showrun projects for everyone from Nickelodeon and Marvel to American Public Media and EA Sports. I’ve helped launch top-performing YouTube channels, cracked a billion views, and most recently took home both a Webby and a Signal Award for Avatar: Braving the Elements, Nickelodeon’s official Avatarverse podcast. I’m currently serving as Chief Content Officer for legal podcaster and creator Emily D. Baker while also co-running my production company, Mindjam Media.
But here’s the truth: my real mission is to make emotional intelligence funny. My newest project, SillyGooseEQ, is a comedic video essay channel for men in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who were taught to “man up” instead of speak up. Whether it’s a sketch about hustle culture or a heartfelt breakdown of friendship love languages, I’m here to help people laugh harder, feel deeper, and show up more fully in their lives.
As a creator, I draw from life—addiction and recovery, grief and love, marriage and divorce, mixed martial arts and mentorship. If it cracked me open, it probably made its way into a script.
My storytelling style is a weird and joyful stew: a little Paul Verhoeven meets Shane Black, stirred with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and spiced with Taika Waititi. (It’s emotionally nutritious. I promise.)
And when I’m not making stuff, I’m usually teaching, mentoring, or helping others do the same. Whether it’s coaching athletes, teaching comedy screenwriting or workshopping new voices in digital media—I believe in lifting as we climb.
This is my Ikigai: to tell emotionally honest, hilariously human stories that help people reconnect with themselves and each other—especially the ones who never thought they were allowed to.
